Step 4 Set the dialing properties of the modem as shown in Figure B-5, adjusting the values appropriate

for the area code and country codes of your location. Enter OK and the operating system will

close the modem configurations dialog and return to the Windows NT desktop. These steps have

verified that the computer contains a properly configured modem. The next steps involve the

installation of SLIP drivers and TCP/IP configurations.
