3.2.7 10BASE-5 AUI Module

This contains the 10BASE-5 AUI STD DTE interface. See Figure 3-10. A second version, 10BASE-5 AUI

SW DCE interface is shown in Figure 3-11.

The interface components are the following:

AUI DA-15 connector (half-duplex only, both AUI types)

Port LEDs

• Col Collision (Yellow)

• Par Partition/Disable (Red)

•

Connectors: Edge connector to the main board unit
